Bhutan at 1:250,000 on a light, waterproof and tear-resistant map from Reise-Know-How; the map is double-sided with a very generous overlap, indexed, and provides excellent picture of the country's topography, locations of its nature reserves and numerous places of interest.
Topography is presented by altitude colouring with spot heights and names of mountain ranges, peaks, passes, glaciers, etc. Road network includes unsurfaced local roads and seasonal tracks, and indicates driving distances on main roads. For hikers, the map shows several trails, including the Snowman Trek and the Snowman Trek 2. Local airfields are marked, and internal administrative boundaries are presented with names of the provinces. Symbols highlight various places of interest, including locations with tourist accommodation, religious sites, hot springs, etc, as well as national parks and nature reserves.
