Romania and Moldova Road Atlas at 1:300,000 from Freytag & Berndt in an A4, spiral bound format, with indexed city centre street plans of Chisinau and 13 Romanian cities, plus mapping of Europe at 1:3,500,000 for route planning.

Topography is shown by relief shading with spot heights and plenty of names of mountain ranges, etc, plus colouring for woodlands. National parks and other protected areas are highlighted. Road network includes small country roads and indicates border crossings, toll routes, steep gradients, seasonal closures, roads closed to or not recommended to caravans, etc. Driving distances are marked on main and many secondary roads; scenic routes are highlighted. The maps show railway lines and locations of domestic airports.

Symbols indicate various places of interest and facilities, including campsites, numerous castles and churches - particularly in Transylvania, beaches, etc. The maps have latitude and longitude lines at 30' intervals. Extensive index lists all locations with their postcodes. Multilingual map legend includes English.

The atlas also provides indexed street plans of city centres in the two capitals plus Arad, Brasov, Cluj Napoca, Constanta, Craiova, Galati, Iasi, Oradea, Pitesti, Ploiesti, Sibiu and Timosoara. All highlight main traffic arteries and name important buildings.

Also included are indexed mapping of the whole of Europe at 1:3,500,000 for route planning and details of basic traffic regulations in the European countries.
